Hi everyone. My name's Maesha and I'm an alcoholic. That's like the
month of May, but not spelled the same. My home group is the +24 group of Alcoholics
Anonymous in Anchorage AK. My sobriety date is 1-1-88. That's right,
I'm a New Year baby, actually more like a control freak who had to
pick her own sobriety date. I have 3 beautiful girls, an amazing
husband, good job, and nice house-all because of AA. These are only
the trappings of recovery, what I really have is a piece of mind and
serenity I never imagined possible, which is a direct result of
working the steps of AA, going to meetings, reading the book and most
importantly, not drinking.

Hello everyone, my name is Bob Brown, and my sobriety date is
5-10-88. I am looking forward to meeting everybody, and what an honor it
is to be asked to speak at this convention. I have so much history with
some of the other speakers Leslie Brown is my wife, and the biggest gift
in my sobriety, we met at a retreat at Lake Mead in May of 92, and got
married in September 26th of 93. My sponsor is John K from Carson City
who is speaking on Friday evening. John M from Kanab I got to see come
into our fellowship, and his sponsor Stan M who is speaking Sunday
morning was at my first meeting outside of the treatment center I went
to. Look forward to see all of you!

My name is Robbie and I am an alcoholic! Through the Grace of God,
the Fellowship of AA, a Team of sponsors, and a strong Home group, I've
been a member of AA in good-standing since 10/31/1983! This "Wise-Guy"
from NJ just loves Sobriety. Why wouldn't I? Due to the illness of
alcoholism I have spent time in Prisons, Rehabs, and even a few Physch-Wards.
This past Bank-Thief; notice I said Past , has straightened his
life out due to AA and God and lives a life that is centered in helping
God's Kids to a solution to their problems. I am looking forward to
meeting everyone at the Tri-State Roundup in May .... Until we meet,
remember to give others compliments and to continue to help someone
less-fortunate than yourself. Stay connected to AA friends; see you on
May 14th -16th, 2010 ... the coffee's on me!
