Sarlot & Eyed - after dinner show Saturday

You are going to be amazed at the talent and versatility of this couple. 2009 National Recipients for "Excellence in Magic" Roland Sarlot and Susan Eyed have recreated a magical experience from the 1850's when European magical artistry was at it's peak. From Paris to Vienna to Budapest, the elite of high-society enjoyed marvelous magical performances in exclusive shows offered in select "parlours." Roland Sarlot and Susan Eyed's intimate Victorian-Inspired Magic Parlour Show follows this tradition and adds a modern-hip edge!

Sarlot and Eyed online

According to family history, to read tarot cards Roland Sarlot's Transylvanian grandmother would go into a deep trance.  Roland was in the eighth grade when he read a book on hypnotism and decided to try it. At a party he sent a girl into a hypnotic spell so deep it scared him into discarding the book and becoming a magician. Roland observed and learned from the acts of such legendary magicians as Dai Vernon, Shimada and Doug Henning.

A creative, lyrical child, Susan Eyed had visions of grandeur and dreamed of a place far away from snow banks, mud puddles and layers of tweed clothing. She longed for a sense of adventure and mystery; to explore the world with Jacques Cousteau wearing long flowing gowns under sunny blue skies.

This pair joined together in 2002 to create an exciting and colorful stage show called Dance of Illusion.

Pete V., Guitarist - Ice Cream Social Thursday

Kick off the Roundup at the ice cream social. Enjoy ice cream and fellowship in a beautiful setting surrounded by friends and listening to our guitar player, Pete V, as he sings his original songs of recovery. Pete (a 55 yr old drunk, who doesn't drink anymore) hails from So. California, has been writing and playing his own music since a very early age. Now he brings his soothing and humorous sounds of recovery to the TSR. Please help us welcome him to out round up. Look forward to seeing you there.
